The words to "Tunnel Visionaries" are a reworking of the opening lines of the influential science fiction novel "The War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells, or possibly Jeff Wayne's musical version of the story. At least some versions of the album included a coupon which could be sent to Skyclad in exchange for a video of early material and live footage.

"Jonah's Ark" is their third album that continues their shift from heavy mid-tempo thrashing sound into more mellow folksy territories. The band's style is still more thrash than anything else, but it is actually their last truly metal album. Skyclad sound is hard to describe, as they are so much unlike others.5/5(6).

Skyclad’s third album was the first that could be praised without any doubt dekepinhygaltenemocamarselfge.coinfo band finally had reduced the Thrash elements to the point where they supported the Folk elements rather than overrode them, had developed their songwriting enough so that there was no filler, had put all the elements in place for the rest of their career, and many state Jonah’s Ark to be a classic.
